We have a great opportunity for Process Maintenance Supervisor who will lead the mechanical maintenance program and tasks for the Wet Plant area of the process plant. Typically this will involve Wet Screening, Milling, Flotation, Thickening, Filtering, Reagents, Elution, Residue Disposal, Carbon circuits and Water Services.
In This Role You Will:
Ensure all maintenance works are completed in a safe manner and in compliance with established safe work procedures and systems.
Identify and organise resource required to complete maintenance works.
Ensure the maintenance plan in their area is efficiently carried out.
Respond to and handle unscheduled maintenance work so that impact on the operation is minimised.
Complete work in accordance with that budget and assisting in budget development
Lead, develop and mentor a group of maintenance trades people to complete quality work safely and efficiently.
Ensure hazards with in the maintenance work place and the process plant are identified and addressed.
Liaise with the planning section, operations personnel and other maintenance sections to establish an agreed schedule of work to be completed. Organise for the completion of this scheduled work utilising both internal and external resources as required.
Prioritise and handle the completion of unscheduled work in an efficient manner.
Manage the work backlog with in agreed targets by utilisation of external resources when required to provide supplementary labour and skills.
Ensure contractors complete required general & work area inductions associated with their scope of contracted work.
Coordinate regular (Quarterly) performance monitoring meetings to discuss HSLP and ESR issues, work performance to date and upcoming scheduled activities.
Conduct regular monitoring, assessment and review of contractor performance in the field and maintain meaningful records e.g. inspections, behaviour observations, audits etc).
Handle the analytical contract for the site.
Your Skills, Knowledge & Experience Checklist:
Mechanical Trade Qualification along with at least 10 years post trade experience.
At least 5 years experience in a maintenance supervisory position.
Maintenance experience in a complex processing or heavy industrial plant.
Sound understanding of maintenance work management processes and experience with leading maintenance work utilizing a CMMS system.
Experience with developing maintenance budgets.
