Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for the coordination of all surface electrical maintenance and minor electrical projects to support safe and reliable operations at Oaky North.

Oaky Creek Coal is looking for a driven individual who demonstrates high levels of organisation and attention to detail. These skills will assist in creating the weekly schedule and compilation of reports and investigations intended to maintain all plant in a fit for purpose condition.

With safety as your key priority you will work efficiently to optimise all operational and maintenance activities of all surface infrastructure. You will be responsible for the execution of maintenance plans while providing relevant information to enable key performance indicators are met and improved on.

The successful candidate will be a hands on leader with proven supervisory experience. Your role will entail the management and supervision of a mixture of permanent and contract trades people including apprentices. You will develop strong working relationships with your peers and have a demonstrated ability to motivate and influence your team.

Ideally, you will have an electrical trade with knowledge of Mining operations, and experience interpreting Coal Mining Legislation, Acts and Codes in also highly beneficial.
